Transform Your Life with Gamma Gamma Sigma Alumnae Chapter

Many of our program initiatives include Project Reassurance, the sorority’s signature program, which operates in support of “H3: It’s All About Me, Health Choices, Healthy Living, Healthy Generations” through the efforts of Project Wee Savers, Operation BigBookBag, Sigma’s National Youth Symposium, Judie Davis Bone Marrow Drive, Hattie McDaniel Cancer Awareness, Project Cradle Care and the March of Dimes.  

From a global perspective, programs include Project Africa and the Mwanamugimu Essay Contest. These programs and projects would not be complete without the help and support of our affiliate groups. Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Incorporated does not mind sharing the spotlight with our Philo affiliates, who are friends of the sorority and our Rhoer Club affiliates, the sorority’s youth group. 

Meeting the challenges of today and growing continuously through Sisterhood, Scholarship, and Service, Sigma Gamma Rho is an international service organization comprised of women from every profession. Sigma Gamma Rho offers its members opportunities to develop their unique talents through leadership training and involvement in sorority activities. 

Working in partnership with Girl Scouts of America, Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority is meeting the challenge to make a difference within not only the African-American community but also communities at large to keep young girls involved in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics through the S.T.E.M. program, by signing a partnership with the U.S.A. Swimming, Sigma Gamma Rho, desires to increase sports participation and promote water safety within our communities.
